HHD Shipping Gmbh was established in December 2020 by Herwin Hermann Duus, Lars Nehlsen, and Dr. Jan Schumacher and active as from January 2021

The three Shareholders together have more than 67 years experience in active Shipping.

Main activities in the past were transport of several steel products out of Italy to several European destinations like Continent/UK/Baltic and within Med and Black Sea. A further contact was a Windmill factory in Tunisia which exports their products to Italy/Spain/UK/Cont. The transport includes the usual Tower sections and of course Wind blades under and on deck from Tunisia to 1 port Italy.

At North-Europe Charterer are active in project shipments out of Baltic into North Sea. They have been shipped MOONPOOL TROLLEY’S and UHG and some other pieces as part cargo on deck.

A large project for about 3 months was fixed with our Norwegian partner (modules from Bremerhaven respectively Antwerp to N. Norway) for which we fixed several 9.000 up to 20.000dwat) tween decker with good gear.

It was also fixed a COA of about 100.000mt bagged cement from Namibia to Dem. Republic of Congo in lots of about 6-12.000dwat well geared Tween decker with low draft for River Congo passage.

Presently we are active for our Tunisian Partner for some veg residues from Tunisia to to UK, Netherland, Denmark and Germany on regular basis. For Germany includes also the river/channel transport down to south Germany.

We have transported more than 1.000.000mt of pig iron from Estonia to Holland and above 1.000.000mt of bagged sugar from France, Belgium and Germany to Moscow by Russian sea/river vessels to Kaliningrad further on by Train to Moscow.
